Questions people ask us

Short answers to the questions we hear most. Each loan page has its own questions about that loan.

About our service

What does Orange Fincorp do?

We do three things. We explain loans and other financial products in plain language, in five languages. We help you get your documents in order before you approach a lender. And we guide small businesses in setting out a business profile and a cash-flow sheet from their own figures.

Are you a bank, an NBFC or a lender?

No. We do not lend, accept deposits, hold money or process payments. "Fincorp" is part of our name only; it does not mean we are registered with the RBI.

Will you find me a lender or get my loan approved?

We do not lend. Our experienced team reviews your enquiry and, where it is suitable, refers it to a bank, NBFC or other lender. A referral is based on our assessment only; it does not guarantee that a lender will respond, approve or offer any terms. The lender decides.

Do you earn commission from anyone?

No. Our only income is the fee you agree with us in writing.

Can you help me if I only speak Tamil / Malayalam / Telugu / Kannada?

The website is in all five languages. Support is available in English, Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu and Kannada, Monday–Saturday, 10:00 AM–6:00 PM IST — by WhatsApp or email first; telephone conversations are by arranged callback.

The free call and fees

What happens on the free call?

About ten minutes on the phone. You tell us what you need; we tell you plainly whether we can help, and what the next step is. No documents are needed.

When would I pay anything?

At present, nothing. Our assistance is free: we charge no fee and take no commission from anyone. See what we do.

What if you cannot help with my need?

We say so on the call and, where we can, point you to the right kind of professional.

Loans — general

How much loan can I get?

That depends on the lender’s rules, your income or business cash flow, your repayment record and any security. We can help you see how lenders usually look at these; only the lender can tell you the amount.

Which documents do most lenders ask for?

Identity and address proof, PAN, income proof (salary slips, ITR or bank statements), and for business loans, GST returns and financials. Each lender adds its own list. Our loan pages show what is usually asked for each type.

Should I send you my documents?

No. Please do not send PAN, Aadhaar, bank statements or notices through this website or by email. We do not collect or hold your documents; you share them directly with the lender.

What is EMI?

EMI is the fixed monthly amount you pay to repay a loan — part interest, part principal. Our calculators give an estimate; your lender sets the actual EMI.

Your details and privacy

What does the enquiry form collect?

Your name and phone number, your email if you give it, the page and service you asked about, and your language. Nothing more.

Who sees my details?

We use them only to reply to you. We do not share them with lenders or anyone else.

Can you delete my details?

Yes. Ask us and we will remove them, except anything we must keep by law.

Things to be careful about

Someone offered to "settle" or "waive" my loan for an advance fee.

Only your lender can agree to a settlement, and payment goes to the lender. An advance fee to "arrange" one is a common fraud.

Can anyone raise my credit score for a fee?

No. Correct information cannot be removed from a credit report, and no one can change a score on request. You can dispute errors yourself, free.

Is Orange Fincorp appointing agents?

Not at present. We never ask for a joining fee, deposit or kit charge. See Become a Partner.

Complaints

What if I am unhappy with your service?

Write to our Grievances Section at info@orangefincorp.net or on WhatsApp +91 78718 55779. We will acknowledge your concern and, if a call is needed, arrange a callback time with you.

What if my complaint is about a bank or NBFC?

Complain to the lender first, in writing. If there is no reply in 30 days or you are not satisfied, you can complain free to the RBI Ombudsman at cms.rbi.org.in.
