Loans for you and your family

Personal, education, vehicle and gold loans, explained one at a time: what each is for, what lenders usually check, which papers to keep ready, and a calculator to estimate the monthly instalment. We explain what lenders usually ask for, and we help you get your documents in order. We do not lend, arrange loans or take commission.

Personal loan

No security. Lenders rely on your income and repayment record. Useful for a one-time need; usually costlier than a secured loan.

Education loan

For a course in India or abroad. Lenders look at the institution, the course and a co-applicant. Repayment usually begins after the course.

Vehicle loan

Secured on the vehicle. New car, used car and two-wheeler loans have quite different terms.

Gold loan

Quick money against gold ornaments. Short tenure; the gold is at risk if you do not repay.
